There is a rumour circling around that Xiaomi is about to enter the mobile gaming market through Black Shark Technology Ltd, a company in which the Chinese brand invested not too long ago.
With the RAZER Phone already out there on the market, a new smartphone made with gaming in mind seems like a good enough idea for Xiaomi to pursue in 2018.
BlackShark might be the name under which the new phone powered by Android will come out on April 13. The handset has recently been sighted at Geekbench listed as codename Blackshark, using model number SKR-A0, a device that is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, it has 8GB of RAM (but it might come out in a 6GB RAM variant as well), runs Android 8.1 Oreo, and it has a unique look for a smartphone but reminiscent of Nokia’s Ngage or Sony’s PS Vita, that if these images you see here are not fake.
Blackshark smartphone recorded a score of 2,406 points in single-core; 8,483 points in multi-core at Geekbench.
Xiaomi’s BlackShartk smartphone will come pre-installed with an app called Shark Space, similar to Google’s Play Games Android application.
This is all we know so far about Xiaomi’s Blackshark smartphone that’s due to debut in lass than 10 days. But imagine being able to play Vainglory on such a device, or Arena of Valor (5vs5), Real Racing 3, FIFA 2018, the upcoming Fortnite or the current PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds (PUBG).
