It has been speculated for a while now that Huawei might be launching a Porsche Design variant of the Huawei P20 series smartphone in partnership with German Auto Brand, Porsche, now owned by Volkswagen.
Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
The Porsche Design has somewhat been confirmed today by a poster the folks at GSMArena spotted a day early on site where the venue will take place tomorrow in Paris, except it is not a P20 Porsche Design model, but a totally new phone which will be marketed as Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design.
At this point there is no information about the hardware, the price or date of availability of this mysterious Mate series device. But we will definitely learn more tomorrow. However, there is speculation that it might feature not the Kirin 970, but the Kirin 990 chipset, at least 6 if not 8GB of RAM and a similar triple camera setup at the back, beside the more luxurious than Mate 10 Pro look and feel.
Please check back here tomorrow for the live stream link, if you want to “see mooore” from Huawei (triple O, Huawei’s not so subtle way to hint at a triple camera sensors setup).
