HTC recently loan its mobile division (which by the way is not doing too well) engineers workforce to Google Inc for a whopping sum of 1.1 billion dollars, which includes patents and license deals as well.
HTC U12 flagship smartphone specs outed
This gave room to speculation that HTC might be done with the smartphone business and could potentially stop producing such handheld devices as of 2018. But it looks like there are taking at least one more shot in the flagship category, with what it might come out as the HTC U12, a 6-inch smartphone made of glass panels sandwiched together by a metal frame (IP 68 U housing) equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 846 processor, according to LlabTooFer, who revealed the key specs sheet of the aforementioned HTC phone.
HTC U12 flagship smartphone specs also include a 3,420 mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, up to 256GB of ROM (Internal Storage), an 8MP front-facing snapper, dual camera setup at the back with 12MP + 16MP sensors, Edge Sense v2.0 tech with pressure sensitive sensors placed on both the right and left hand side of the device, Android Oreo (version 8.0) with HTC Sense v10 on top of it.
And that’s pretty much all we know so far about HTC U12 flagship smartphone specs.
Regarding pricing and availability, the word on the street is that it will cost over $800 and it could land sometime between April and June 2018.
