Daydream View now available in Europe (Google’s dedicated VR headset)

This week Google begins selling its Daydream View VR, which is a virtual reality headset with an intuitive controller that will allow one to immerse himself into this virtual space. Daydream View features a soft, but washable design (cloth material) and it works by pairing it with a Daydream compatible smartphone like Google’s recently announced Pixel phone, through the Daydream application available for free to download in Google’s app store.

Daydream View has lots of VR content in which one can immerse himself. For instance, you can visit the most notorious places on Earth from the comfort of your home, plus you have access to YouTube VR category, which is currently one of the largest places on the Internet where one can access virtual reality content.

Google sells the Daydream View headset for £70 in the UK, through its Google Play store, but you will find it at EE or Carphone Warehouse, too. In Germany, the VR headset costs 70 Euros and it is available through the Play store or at Deutsche Telekom.
