HTC to announce Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle smartphone in a press event early next week.
HTC confirmed to Pocketdroid the event the comapny will be broadcasting live over the internet from 8AM BSTon September 20th, when it is expected to unveil two new Desire-series smartphones, the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle.
As HTC already highlighted throughtout the last couple of weeks, in its “#BeEdgier” campaign promoted on social networks like Twitter and Facebook, the two new Desire smartphones are expected to deliver innovative design and hardware features.
According to rumours, the Desire 10 Pro (which will be the top of the Desire line smartphone) will feature a 5.1-inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) display, it will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM (internal storage) and a 12MP main camera at the back.
The lesser equipped Desire 10 Lifestyle will feature a 5.5-inch HD (1,280 x 720 pixels) display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 CPU, only 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
Both smartphones will allegedly sport a fingerprint sensor, which is a premiere in the Desire series. Basically, these are the first devices to sport such technology.
