OnePlus 3 announced and revealed to the public finally!
OnePlus has finally took the wraps off of its 2016 flagship killer smartphone, the OnePlus 3, and it is as its catch phrase implies, a beast of a phone. Packing 6GB of RAM, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the Adreno 530 GPU, OnePlus 3 will run smoothly any app or game from the Google Play store offering at the same time tons of customizations through its Oxygen customized ROM, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Made of metal, OnePlus 3’s beautifully crafted unibody measures 7.35 mm in thickness, weighting only 158 grams.
In addition to its powerful processing unit, OnePlus 3 also packs a 16MP rear-camera sporting Sony’s IMX298 sensor with OIS and f/2.0 aperture (4K video), while at the front there is an 8MP IMX179 sensor with f/1.8 aperture (FHD video). Underneath its metal plate there’s a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with Dash Charge technology (meaning it can recharge up to 60% of the battery in just 30 minutes via USB-C port).
“We know that the best smartphone is the one that works exactly how you want it to,” said OnePlus Founder and CEO Pete Lau. “The OnePlus 3 delivers that experience. It combines what our customers already love about our products with what they want and expect next. For example, Dash Charge sets a new standard for fast charging technology. It’s a flagship smartphone inspired by – and made for – our fans.”
Other features include Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n connectivity and a fingerprint reader as well.
OnePlus 3 is available at OnePlus’ online webshop for £310, about 399 Euro for the rest of the European countries. But if you are in one of the following cities: New York, London, Paris and Berlin today, you can purchase the smartphone at one of the four pop-up stores.
