Sony Mobile announced today a new smartphone, Xperia E5, which will arrive this July in Europe. The brand new Xperia device is mediocre at best in specs and it will cost about 200 Euros, thus making it a mid-range handset.
Xperia E5 feature 5-inch LCD 720p HD display, it comes packed with MediaTek’s MT6735 chipset (1.3GHz quad-core processor), it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The smartphone will come equipped with 5 and 13MP cameras, a 2,700 mAh battery and runs Marshmallow flavoured Android OS.
Sony intends to sell this phone to younger generations, in either Black or White colour. Xperia E5 sits well in the hand at 8.2mm in thickness and weighting in at 147 grams.
It remains to be seen which are the countries that will receive the phone, but are pretty sure that it will be available in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and some of the Northern countries.
