Xiaomi introduced earlier this morning, in Asia, a new phablet with fingerprint sensor dubbed Mi Max. The handset features a whopping 6.44-inch Full HD display and it packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor or the Snapdragon 650, depending on the model. The 128GB variant with 4GB of RAM and the 64GB with 3GB of RAM pack the 652 SoC, while the 32GB internal storage model with 3GB of RAM packs the 650 chip. But one can add some extra storage via Mi Max’s dual SIM hybrid slots.
In terms of Camera, Xiaomi Mi Max comes with a 16MP main camera with dual LED Flash on the back and a 5MP front-facing selfies shooter.
In addition, Mi Max packs an 4.850 mAh battery, which is why it weighs a little over 200 grams (203g to be exact). The phablet runs MIUI 8 based on Google’s Android Marshmallow flavoured mobile operating system.
Xiaomi says the Mi Max will be available in Gold, Silver and Light Grey as of May 17 for 200 Euros the 32GB model, 230 Euro the 64GB model and 270 Euro the 128GB model.
