Today, in China, Huawei announced and released under the Honor series a new handset dubbed Honor V8. The phablet features a large 5.7″ 2K LCD display (2.560 x 1.440 pixels), it comes packed with P9 Plus’ dual 12MP Camera, though there is no Leica involvement in this gorgeous looking Honor V8 and it runs Android 6.0 Marhmallow with Emotion 4.1 UI on top of the operating system.
The Huawei Honor V8 with its unibody metal design measures 7.75mm in thickness, weighs in at 170 grams and it comes with a built-in 3,500 mAh battery.
In addition, Honor V8 comes with an 8MP front-facing snapper, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2,4G LTE Cat 6 connectivity and a fingerprint reader on its back.
Huawei sells the Honor V8 starting at £265 / 335 Euro and in two internal storage option: a 64GB with 4GB of RAM and a 5.7″ Quad HD display, while the lesser equipped model comes with only 32GB, 4GB of RAM and a Full HD 5.7″ only. In terms of colors, the Honor V8 is available in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Platinum Gold and Glacier Silver.
