Samsung is about to unleash a new smartphone on the market, one that is looking awfully a lot like the HTC One series handsets or the iPhones, when viewed from behind. The South Korean OEM must be really determined on stealing customers from HTC and even Apple for that matter, that they’ve come up with such an unfamiliar Galaxy series unibody design.
Galaxy C5 SM-C5000, because this is the name and the model number under which Samsung will be marketing the device, it is rumoured to feature 5.2-inch Full HD display, sport Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with the Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The rest of the specs such as the battery and the internal memory capacity or the camera’s are unknown at this time, and so is the date of launch.
But judging from the amount of pictures being leaked on the Internet within the last week or so, Samsung Electronics might announce it sooner rather than later.
