On May 10, Huawei is going to unleash a new Honor series smartphone and we know this, because the Asian company has been teasing us about it, for the last week or so. Probably dubbed Honor V8, the handset appeared recently in a listing at TENAA, China’s Mobile Certification Authority, using model number Huawei KNT-AL10. This is not the frist device the authority reveals this month.
Beside revealing the device from the front, the back and both sides, TENAA has also revealed Huawei Honor V8 specs, including the dual Camera system similar to the one we’ve seen on the Huawei P9 at its launch event a few weeks ago.
Weighing in at 170 grams, the Huawei Honor V8 measures 7.75mm in thickness, it features a 5.7-inch Full HD TFT display, comes equipped with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, it has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM (internal storage), microSD card slot for up to extra 128GB of removable storage, runs on Android 6.0 and it has a 3,400 mAh built-in battery.
Huawei Honor V8 specs sheet also reveal that the device has 3 cameras, with 2 x 12MP sensors on the back depicted clearly in the above image and a 8MP camera at the front.
It remains for us to find out its price tag and market availability on May 10th.
