Last week we took a good look at what appeared to be the up and coming Galaxy S7 series of smartphones from Samsung, thanks to a couple of press renders leaked online by a trusted source.
This week, however, we are looking at a couple of photographs portraying both the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge in all their glory. One of the pictures even confirms S7 Edge’s SM-G935 model number as previous rumours pointed out and it looks like they were right.
There are also rumours about Samsung replacing Aluminium with Magnesium as the metal of choice for building the frame of the two 2016 flagship devices.
Other expected features include the ‘Always ON’ screen feature (something we’ve seen on Lumia devices) and water and dust resistant housing, a feature which we will probably find on all S7 smartphones that Samsung will release this year. Expect an S7 Plus, S7 mini (maybe), S7 Active in some markets.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphones will see the light of day officially on February 21, in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress in a dedicated Samsung Unpacked event.
