Xiaomi is about to unveil a couple of new smartphones amongst which we will probably see announced the Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship smartphone that’s been said to feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 2.5D curved glass on both edges.
Mi 5 appeared this week in several alleged photographs, in Asia. These recently leaked images show a device which is more of a mix between Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S6 Edge at the front (see Mi 5 White model picture), but the back is entirely something else. The photos that portray the Black variant ,show an all-metal device with fingerprint reader on the back, an LED Flash and what it probably is a Heart rate sensor surrounding the rumoured 16MP main Camera sensor. The front facing camera could sport an 8MP sensor for high-quality selfies.
Other rumoured specs include is the Snapdragon 820 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, an over 3.000 mAh in capacity battery and will run Marshmallow flavour.
If the Asian sources have the information right, Xiaomi might launch the Mi 5 flagship handset by mid-Feb
