Xiaomi is China’s Apple or so some would tag this company that as of lately sold more Android smartphones in the country than Apple did. In fact it is the number one brand outranking Chinese companies such as Huawei, Lenovo or Meizu.
Today, Xiaomi introduced a new dual SIM (nano SIM) smartphone dubbed Redmi 3, which packs some interesting hardware at very cheap. Redmi 3 will go on sale on January 12 for under 100 Euro.
Xiaomi Redmi 3 packs a 4,1000 mAh battery underneath a 8.5mm thin plasticky housing. Weighing in at 144 grams, Redmi 3 feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (built-in storage).
In addition, Xiaomi equipped Redmi 3 with 5 and 13MP cameras, Bluetooth 4,1 Wi-Fi b/g/n, a 5-inch IPS panel with 1,280 x 720 pixels screen resolution.
Redmi 3 will be available as of tomorrow through Xiaomi’s website in four colours: Fashion Gold, Classic Gold, Fashion Dark Grey and Silver.
