In the last four years Huawei has climbed into leading positions in the Top 10 World Smartphone makers, claiming the third position right now, behind Apple and Samsung, and leading the Chinese market as the most important manufacturer on its home turf.
Every year, for the last three years now, Huawei has pushed the officially unveil date of its flagship smartphone with a month, reaching month April in 2015 from June month in 2013, when the company announced the Ascend P6 in London.
With that being said, the number 1 Chinese mobile maker right now, is rumoured to launch its 2016 flagship phone, the Huawei P9 and P9 Max, some time around or early after Mobile World Congress 2016.
Huawei P9 might feature a 5.2″ display with either Full HD or QuadHD display, unless the company prepares its first ever 4K screen equipped device to match Sony’s Xperia Z5 Premium.
Other rumoured specs are as follows: the Kirin 950 octa-core processor seen on the Mate 8, 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest Emotion UI on top of it.
Is the Huawei P9 on your 2016 flagship aquisition list, next year?
