Samsung Electronics announced earlier this month the 2016 Galaxy A series smartphones (Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7), which for some reason, it does not include the Galaxy A9 SM-A9000. Either way, the largest of the four Galaxy A series devices has been leaked in a way that there isn’t much left for Samsung Electronic to unveil whether it will be this month or early next year at the annual Consumer Electronics Shows in Las Vegas.
Besides leaking Samsung Galaxy A9 specs, unofficial sources have revealed a hands-on comparison video between the Galaxy A9 and the Galaxy A7 (2016 model) and as you can see there isn’t much differences except their size. Galaxy A9 is quite the behemoth in comparison to the A7, but other than that, the A9 retains the new range design.
Samsung Galaxy A9 will feature a 6″ Super AMOLED display with Full HD screen resolution, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 620 1.8GHz octa-core processor, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery.
Galaxy A9 specs also include 8 and 13MP cameras, glassy housing with metal frame similar to GNote 5’s and a fingerprint reader as well.
As for the price, Samsung will soon start selling the Galaxy A9 in Asia for around 430 Euros.
