Galaxy Note 4 reportedly receiving Marshmallow upgrade in Europe

Galaxy Note 4 reportedly receiving Marshmallow upgrade

Looks like somebody is being generous this time of year. Yeah, you, Samsung Electronics.

According to a report coming from Eastern Europe (Hungary) Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users are reportedly receiving early the upgrade to Android 6.0. Although it sounds a bit strange, considering the rumours that hinted at a February 2016 deployment of Marshmallow flavoured firmware update, the source seems legit enough.

The new firmware build N910FXXU1DOL3 brings the much awaited new Air Command menu seen on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ (Plus), as well as the Screen Off Memo software function which allows one to quickly take notes using the S Pen without hassle, while the Note 4 is in stand by mode. The upgrade also changes the way the icons will look, faster TouchWiz UX (probably a much lite version) and smoother animations.

Own a Samsung Galaxy Note 4? Did you get the upgrade as well? We would like to hear your opinion on the latest software Samsung apparently rolls out as of this month.
