HTC One M8 receives Android 6.0 update with Sense 7.0 this December

HTC One M8 receives Android 6.0 update

HTC One M8 receives Android 6.0 update in Europe by the end of the month (December, 2015) according to a trustworthy HTC insider.

It is good to see that mobile makers have finally understood the need for software updates and security patches, as the number of users who access the Internet via mobile devices is increasing rapidly. One such OEM is HTC, who recently launched the One A9 with software updates in mind. But aside from this device, HTC is looking to update some of its older flagship phones, such as the One M8 (2014 flagship smartphone).

According to @LlabTooFeR claims, a known HTC news insider on Twitter and XDA Developers Forums, HTC will roll out a firmware update within the next couple of weeks to One M8 users in Europe, software which will include Android 6.0 Marshmallow and HTC Sense 7.0 UI.

The new firmware build should be 6.12.401.x and it could bring a lite version of HTC Sense UI, like we’ve already seen on the One A9.

How does this sound?
