Huawei Honor smartphones to receive Android 6.0 from the first quarter of 2016, Huawei Honor India Twitter account officially announces.
Huawei evolved a lot as a mobile maker in the last three or four years. The Chinese OEM received praised for its new flagship device, the Huawei P8, and for the 2014-2015 Honor series devices.
The mid-range Honor series is a success for sure, especially in Asia, and now the company wants to reward its customers by offering a software update with a taste of Marshmallow. Huawei plan includes Honor devices such as the Honor 4C, Honor 4X, the Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus and the latest one, the Honor 7. All will be receiving an upgrade to Android 6.0 starting February 2016, according to a tweet posted by the official Honor India Twitter account. The schedule will likely include the Honor 5X smartphone, too.
So, if you are the proud owner of one of the above Huawei Honor smartphones, you’ll be in for a treat early next year.
