Oppo Neo 7 announced as a low-end phone with Snapdragon 410 (LTE Chipset)

Earlier this morning Chinese mobile maker Oppo, who is also the official smartphone sponsor for FC Barcelona,  has announced a new smartphone – Oppo Neo 7, a device powered by Qualcomm’s 4G LTE low-end chipset, the Snapdragon 410, that runs Color OS 2.1 (custom ROM based on Lollipop)

Oppo Neo 7 feature a 5″ display, but the screen resolution is not that great – 960 x 540 pixels, the processor is a quad-core clocked at 1.2GHz, it comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and a 2,420 mAh battery..

Other specs include an 8MP main camera with LED Flash, 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone has a pretty nice design, comes with dual SIM slots and 4G LTE connectivity. It measures 7.55 mm in thickness, weighing in at 141 grams.

Oppo hasn’t said a word about Neo 7 price tag, only that it will be available in the coming weeks.

The Chinese smartphone brand released over the summer its flagship phones, namely Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus.
