Xperia Z5 Premium launched in Taiwan, costs almost 730 Euro

Xperia Z5 Premium launched in Taiwan

Earlier this morning Sony Mobile Taiwan introduced on the local market the utmost desired smartphone the Japanese produced until now, Xperia Z5 Premium, the worlds first handset equipped with a 4K display.

Although, Sony announced it at IFA 2015 Berlin, Xperia Z5 Premium’s global roll out is kind of slow. Taiwan is one of the first markets to begin selling the uniquely equipped phone as of this week.

Xperia Z5 Premium feature a 5.5″ 4K resolution display, that’s almost 4 times the 1080p (3,840 x 2,160 px), imagine how gorgeous this looks in the palm of your hand even though the naked eye can not distinguish that many pixels per inch.

Z5 Premium packs an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage, which is expandable for up to 200GB more in case one needs more space to store 4K videos on it captured by a 23MP camera sensor. As for the battery, Sony equipped the 5.5-inch top-tier smartphone with a 3,430 mAh battery.

At the event Sony Taiwan announced a price tag set to 25,990 Taiwan Dollars (about 730 Euros) for the Xperia Z5 Premium but, if it is too expensive for the most, there are alternatives from Sony such as the Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, or the limited edition Xperia Z5 Compact James Bond Spectre 007 edition.
