Android 6.0 software update roll out to Nexus

As expected Google has started pushing out Marshmallow to some of its Nexus devices following San Francisco announcement on September 29th.

Android 6.0 software update roll out to Nexus devices begin on Monday, so we are about 24 hours in with the upgrades rolling all over the world, not only in the US. Right about now you are wondering which of the Nexus devices made it to Google’s list and whether or not yours is on it. Well, according to Google blog post on Monday, the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9 tablet and the Nexus Player are due to receive the upgrade in the following weeks.

If you’re not amongst the first lucky ones to receive the upgrade on your Nexus handheld to Marshmallow, don’t worry about it, because the software is being rolled out in stages.

But if you’re anxious to try it early, you can purchase the Nexus 5X or the Nexus 6P, both of which are being shipped with Android 6.0 on-board.

HTC and Motorola smartphone owners are next in line to receive an upgrade, at least some of them.
