Skype 6.4 for Android lets one manage conversations from the wrist

Skype 6.4 for Android

Microsoft has just released Skype 6.4 for Android, an update that allows one to manage any Skype conversation right from the wrist, as the application is now compatible with Android Wear platform.

The app offers three ways to respond to messages, either use voice-to-text by speaking to your wrist like Inspector Gadget (cool, ha?), use pre-written responses or you can just draw on the watch and respond using emojis, like on the Apple Watch. You can also take audio and video Skype calls from your Android Wear smartwatch, but you wont be able to speak unless you’re using a Bluetooth speaker. However, you get access to some features in these calls such as Mute the conversation, Hang-up or Pause it, and you can also switch to another incoming Skype call.

Skype 6.4 for Android is now available on devices such as the Moto 360, Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbane and the ASUS ZenWatch.
