Sony Xperia Z5 Premium worlds first 4K smartphone gets leaked on video ahead of its Berlin launch announcement.

Sony Mobile division is about to introduce to the public the Xperia Z5 series which comprises of Sony Xperia Z5 worlds first 4K smartphone, Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact. The announcement is schedule for tomorrow, September 2, at IFA2015 in Berlin, but in the meantime the series has been leaked on video via Clubic, a French tech publication.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium worlds first 4K smartphone is rumoured to feature a 5.5-inch Triluminos 4K display, which uses the same technology we find in Sony 4K Bravia TVs introduced earlier this year, while the 5.2″ model will sport 1080p screen resolution. The entire Xperia Z5 series is said to feature a fingerprint sensor embedded in the all new Power button, on the right-hand side, a 23MP main camera, with the “fastest Aufofocus on the market,” 8MP front-facing camera, two-days battery life, water proof housing (which is a standard on all Xperia phones lately), Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon series chipset, 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory storage. The Z5 Premium will be available in Gold variant, which we gotta say it is quite the looker, don’t you agree?

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium worlds first 4K smartphone, along with its smaller form factor brothers, will be unveiled on Wednesday, in a press conference broadcasted live by Sony over the Internet from IFA Berlin.
