There’s no doubt that Motorola will unleash a new Moto 360 smartwatch this year, as the gadget keeps showing up in pictures in different corners of the world. The latest photograph comes from Asia, portraying the Moto 360 2nd gen smartwatch on the wrist of a person that shows the Settings menu in Chinese language.
Moto 360 2nd gen will indeed feature a crown positioned at 2 o’clock as well as an extended lug arrangement, something the first generation lacked. The next Motorola smartwatch iteration is said to feature a thinner and less bulky profile, improved hardware (CPU, RAM) and a larger battery capacity, we hope.
That being said, this year’s IFA2015 event happening in Berlin early next month, will bring together a lot of novelties in the smartwatch segment. Many such manufacturers including Asus, Huawei and LG are looking to announce such gadgets. Well, maybe not all are new to most of us but, at least, we will have a price tag and a date of release (Huawei Watch, Asus ZenWatch 2).
Update: a second images surfaced, showing both generation Moto 360 compared with one another
