We’ve been hearing about Motorola releasing a second generation Moto 360 smartwatch, for quite some time, but nothing official really, and there are no real leaks so far. At this time, we only know that it will be thinner and better-looking (classy) than the first generation Motorola smartwatch, but nothing about the guts (hardware) inside.
As little as there is available information right now, we finally have confirmation from one of Lenovo’s execs, who confirmed on Weibo social network in China, that the smartwatch is coming soon and then withdraw his posted from the network.
The exec in question is Andy Panhai Fan, and he is Regional Sales Manager of the Lenovo Mobile Business Group, Motorola Team, so it’s a pretty solid source.
Lenovo could unveil Motorola’s next smartwatch at IFA 2015, in Berlin, like most of the OEM this time of year, but it could also decide to introduce it earlier, by the end of this month, maybe.
