Huawei is bragging about releasing a unique smartphone during IFA 2015, in Berlin, Germany, this fall.
The news comes through Weibo social network in China, where the OEM posted an ad about its September 2 scheduled event, that makes reference to a “unique” letter S(martphone).
The rumour has it that Huawei will launch a device with a slightly curved display, kinda like the Galaxy S6 Edge or the G Flex 2. We will see how unique their smartphone will be. There are also a couple of renders that show the top of this unique S handset, that GizChina got its hands-on (see photo below).
As you can see in the above image, Huawei’s upcoming phone comes with a SIM tray slot positioned on top of the device as opposed to the side on all previous smartphones, including the Huawei P8 launched earlier this year.
Huawei is also going to announce the next-gen phablet-sized Ascend Mate 8, although we are not 100% certain this is its commercial name.
Are you looking for a unique smartphone? Huawei might just have that for you this year, you’ll only have to wait to release it.
