Seven days from now Samsung Electronics will unleash its 5th Galaxy Note phablet generation, the Galaxy Note 5, in a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event that will take place in New York City on August 13.

At the beginning of this week several hands-on photos have leaked online revealing that the Note 5 will not feature a USB Type-C port, as you can see from one of these images, there is not microSD card slot either, but it will sport a spring-loaded S Pen slot, if this is one of the new features that you’re looking for from the next-gen Samsung phablet.

The Galaxy Note 5 will come equipped with an Exynos 7420 64-bit processor, 4GB of RAM and it will be available in 32, 64 and 128GB variants. As for the its design, it looks like a larger Galaxy S6 but with slightly curved rear glass edges.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 could feature a 5.7″ Super AMOLED QuadHD display, 5 and 16MP cameras, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with the latest TouchWiz UX.

One of the above photographs shows an overhauled Air Command S Pen menu, one more colorful.
