Moto X 3rd Gen gets photographed from various angles revealing the design and some of its key features.
Five more days until July 28, the day when Motorola will hold a press event simultaneously on three continents to announce its 2015 Moto smartphone series.
We’ve seen them (Moto X 3rd Gen, Moto X Sport – 5.2″ model, Moto G 3rd Gen) already from earlier leaks, but not the 5.5″ Moto X model in such close-up pictures. These images come courtesy of Android Peru Facebook page and they reveal some interesting features such as the dual front speakers mounted on the new generation, as well as front-facing LED Flash for better Selfies and a dual-tone LED Flash at the back, right below the Camera. There’s also a fingerprint sensor added to this smartphone, it is placed right below the bottom front-facing speaker, which is not obvious at all, according to the source of these photos. In fact, if the source hadn’t mention it we would have not notice, that’s how invisible it is.
At the top we see the SIM slot along with the 3.5mm headphone jack and the attractively curved metal frame.
Moto X 3rd Gen retains the metal frame from last year and the overall design, but it looks slightly more polished and elegant than the previous generation (2014).
All in all, we have a little under a week before we ge to put our hands on the next-gen Moto smartphone series. We will be in London at Motorola’s launch announcement.
