Oppo has finally unveiled its flagship smartphones for 2015 and they are not bad at all. Both Oppo R7 and R7 Plus sport an aluminium unibody (92% metal) covered with 2.5D curved glass (arc edge screen), giving it a more premium feel and a slight but elegant curve at the edges.
Oppo R7 and R7 Plus share similar hardware specifications, well, mostly. Both come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chipset that delivers an octa-core 1.5GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, 8 and 13MP cameras.
While Oppo R7 feature a 5″ AMOLED Full HD display and a 2,320 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging technology (VOOC), the R7 Plus comes with a 6″ display, 32GB storage option and a bigger 4,100 mAh battery. Also worth mentioning – R7 Plus runs ColorOS based on Lollipop, the R7 only ColorOS 2.1 based on Kitkat, but promises an upgrade later in the year.
As for the price, Oppo hasn’t said anything. We’ve got nothing on Oppo R7 and R7 Plus pricing nor region availability, but we will get back to you as soon as we learn more.
