MediaPad M2 launched in Paris, France, over this weekend, with an Huawei P8 inspired design.
Huawei has quietly announced over the weekend in Paris, a new MediaPad series tablet dubbed MediaPad M2. The newest tablet draws key design features from the flagship smartphone Huawei P8, announced not long ago in London alongside P8 Max.
The MediaPad M2 feature an anodized Aluminium housing, encased in which sits an 8-inch IPS Full HD display. The M2 is powered up by an 64-bit octa-core HiSillicon Kirin 930 processor clocked at 2GHz coupled by 2GB of RAM. It comes in either 16 or 32GB variants with a microSD card slot included, 8MP and 2MP cameras, 4,800 mAh battery, Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.0 on top of it and there’s also WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and 4G LTE (sim slot) connectivity.
Huawei MediaPad M2, which is sequel to MediaPad M1 from last year, measures only 7.8mm in thickness and it weighs 310 grams. It will be available in Europe for 349 Euros.
