ZTE Nubia Z9 announced in China with almost bezeless display and much more.
ZTE Corp has unveiled earlier this morning in China, the bezeless flagship smartphone dubbed ZTE Nubia Z9, which will be available in three variants (optional RAM and ROM): ZTE Nubia Z9 Exclusive, which includes fingerprint sensor technology, ZTE Nubia Z9 Classic and ZTE Nubia Elite, all powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset and with dual SIM slots (both nano SIMs).
All three ZTE Nubia Z9 announced in China feature a 5.2″ IPS 1080p almost bezeless display, with a pixel density of 424 dpi and 2.5D Continuous Grain Silicon (CGS) technology. The frame is only 0.8mm thin, and the phone comes with a new technology called FIT (Frame Interactive Technology) which takes advantage of this very narrow bezel, by offering one the possibility to interact with the screen through gestures, such as swiping along both sides to unlock the phone, to launch the Camera app and other such commands based on gestures.
The screen is powered by an 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor coupled by an Adreno 430 GPU, and it has a 4G LTE modem embedded for super fast internet connection. The main camera comes with a 16MP Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor, 8MP camera in the front and a 2,900 mAh battery. Nubia Z9 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nubia UI 3.0 version on top of it.
ZTE Nubia Exclusive sports 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage and TIO fingerprint technology embedded in the Home button and the Volume rocker. The Nubia Elite sports 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, while the Z9 Classic comes with 3GB of RAM and only 32GB of internal storage. No word if these phones feature microSD card slots or not, but we doubt they do.
All three versions measure 8.9mm in thickness and weigh about 195 grams. They will be available in Black and Gold color.
The Nubia Z9 Classic costs 500 Euro, the Z9 Elite 570 Euro, and the Z9 Exclusive about 645 Euros. There is no word whether these phone will be available in any of the versions globally or only in Asia. Will will update you on this matter as soon as we hear more.
