A little over a month ago ZTE Corp introduced in China a couple of Nubia Z9 smartphones — Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 Mini, however, for some reason, the company left out the real flagship phone of the series.
ZTE is to hold a press event on May 6, in China, where it is expected to announce the ZTE Nubia Z9 beast, which according to a recent TENAA leak, the smartphone will pack some really serious power along with 3D gesture technology.
So, according to TENAA (Chinese Electronics Certification Approval Website, sort of FCC equivalent) ZTE Nubia Z9 feature a 5.1-inch Full HD display, 3.5GHz octa-core processor and 8GB of RAM, which sounds ridiculous, unless it is a human error, while typing in the information. The errors go even further, pointing to an 8MP/8MP main camera (earlier Z9 models both feature 16MP camera on the back) and judging from these leaked pictures there is no dual camera setup on the back of the smartphone.
In addition, the Nubia Z9 measures 8.9 mm in thickness and weighs 180 grams, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with 32GB of built-in storage. The Z9 will be available on either Black or White color.
There’s only five more days to go, before ZTE unveils the ZTE Nubia Z9 flagship in China, and then, everything will make sense to all of us.
