In a blog post today, April 20, OnePlus announced that anyone looking to purchase a OnePlus One smartphone will not require an invite anymore. The embargo has been lifted forever. Now anyone anywhere on the globe can buy the One on any day of the week. The news is not random, but the company 1 year celebration (April 23rd, 2014) since it launched the flagship killer.
In other news, OnePlus confirmed the name of its second flagship killer — OnePlus 2, which we thought the company will reveal today, however, so far no announcement, but a brief heads up that the OnePlus 2 “will initially launch with invites.”
