G4 curve coming along with the LG G4 as a bent version creating competition to Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge, Korean sources familiar with LG plans reveal.
Launching two flagship smartphones instead of just one at the same event is becoming more and more popular among mobile makers. Last year Apple kind of set the trend announcing the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, followed by Samsung over a month ago with its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets, and now we hear rumours about another Asian manufacturer to follow in their footsteps.
It appears that LG Electronics is going to announce not one but two LG G4‘s during its press event on April 28th, event which will take place at the same time all around the globe (In 6 key cities: London, New York, Seoul, Istanbul, Singapore and Paris).
According to the South Korean Seoul Finance publication, LG is going to launch a 5.5-inch WQHD G4 variant, which is right on par with GFXBench’s specs listing from late last month, as well as one with a curved Plastic OLED display (one of the variants will also feature brown leather back) which might carry ‘G4 curve‘ market name.
We are not certain how the curved model with look like, but we belive it wont feature a screen that’s curved on the edges like the S6 Edge, more like the G Flex 2.
