Telecom operators ordered 20 million Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones in only one week after both went official.
At the beginning of the month Samsung Electronics introduced the very first premium flagship phones — Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, in a press event, which took place in Barcelona, during Mobile World Congress 2015.
Both phones have been well received so far by the media specialists and consumers alike. New reports coming from Samsung’s homeland say, that the company received a record of 20 million Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge pre-orders already (in the first week after going official), from telecom network operators around the world, and this figure doesn’t include retail shops.
A staggering figure, if we consider the rumoured retail price of both, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. The S6 Edge 128GB could go for up to 1050 Euros on the continent.
Samsung is expecting an important increase in sales this year, thanks to the new premium smartphones, the company announced at MWC 2015, in Spain, earlier this month.
What do you make of the new smartphones? Do you like them?
