After announcing what it was the worlds thinnest smartphone at the time, under the name Oppo R5, in January (2015), Oppo released a new mid-level phone in China, Oppo R1c.

Oppo has just announced the global availability of R1c, but under a different marketing name, Oppo R1x. The phone which will be available in key markets as of next month, April.

Oppo R1x is a mid-range Android device powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz frequency and it features a 5-inch 720p HD display. In addition, the Oppo R1x has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage (microSD card slot included for up to 128GB), 13MP rear-camera with Sony’s Exmor RS IMX214 sensor, 5MP camera in front and a 2,420 mAh battery.

The Oppo R1x is made of sapphire glass and comes with an aluminium frame, and it is also very slim at its 6.85 mm
