Samsung SM-G920V passes through customs in India, appears in the import data logs.
A little birdie chirp about Samsung’s up and coming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, that it will sport a 5-inch display and 4GB of RAM.
In a listing on India import tracking website – Zauba, Samsung SM-G920V also known to the media as the coming Galaxy S6, it is stated that the phone features a 5-inch display. Previous reports link the S6 model number SM-G920V to Verizon Wireless, the carrier which will carry this variant in the US. In the same import listing at Zauba, it is clearly stated that the Samsung SM-G920V sample is a single SIM model shipped “for testing and evaluation and not for retail sale.”
Further rumours hint at an S6 with a 20MP main camera, 4GB of RAM LPDDR2 (20nm), random access memory that Samsung begin mass producing back in December 2014, Android 5.0 Lollipop with a skinned TouchWiz UX that is reportedly smoother, performance wise closer to the UI (user interface) of the Nexus 6. As much as people love Samsung’s TouchWiz UI for the multitude of software features, they dislike it for the irritating lag, so, this would be a welcome software improvement on the next flagship.
Samsung is to launch both, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge (SM-G925) in big press event on March 1st at Mobile World Congress in Spain.
