HTC is going to announce the next One M9 flaghship smartphone at Mobile World Congress, and this is no news to those that follow our daily reports, as we’ve uncovered key specs and its looks in several images, throughout this week.
What’s interesting is that HTC might launch a phablet too, alongside its flagship phone at MWC2015. That if we are to believe these newly leaked images that show an alleged HTC One M9 Plus phablet with a presumably fingerprint scanner placed at the bottom of the screen (see up top photo) instead of placing it on the back like on the HTC One Max (2013).
The HTC One M9 Plus is said to feature a 5.5-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) display, as for processing power it will sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage. On the back, the HTC One M9 Plus is equipped with dual cameras with two-tone LED Flash, the camera sensor could be the same one rumoured to equip One M9 flagship, which is an 20.7MP sensor.
We will know more in a little over a month from now, HTC will hold a “Utopia in progress” event at MWC in Barcelona, Spain.
