Samsung announces the ultra-thin with full metal frame, Galaxy A7 SM-A700.
Samsung Electronics introduced today its latest Galaxy Alpha series smartphone, the Galaxy A7 SM-A700. The phone will be available in both single and dual SIM option, and it inherits Galaxy Alpha design, including the metal frame.
Galaxy A7 SM-A700 feature a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and comes in two variants: the single SIM 4G LTE model comes equipped with an Exynos 5430 chipset (1.8GHz quad-core + 1.3GHz quad-core processor), the dual SIM 3G/4G model is equipped with Qualcomm’s MSM8x39 chipset (1.5GHz quad-core + 1GHz quad-core), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage which is expandable for up to 64GB through a microSD card slot.
Additionally, the Galaxy A7 SM-A700 comes with a 13MP shooter on the back as the main camera and a 5MP in front, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and a 2,600 mAh battery to power the Super AMOLED HD screen. The A7 is very thin, only 6.3mm and weighs in at 141 grams.
The Galaxy A7 SM-A700 comes in Black, White and Gold colors. Pricing and availability to be announced by Samsung at a later date.
