As of December 4th, last week, Samsung Electronics has started the official roll out of the Android 5.0 software update in Europe for the Galaxy S5. Polish S5 owners are the first users to receive the Lollipop flavour on their flagship phones, followed a day later, December 5th, by the Koreans. In South Korea, the upgrade is available from all three major mobile carriers (KT, SKT and LG U+), and Samsung will continue the roll out through early next year on major products such as the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 3, the Galaxy S5 LTE-A and the Galaxy S4.

According to Samsung Tomorrow post on Flickr network, the company plans to present an entirely new UX (user experience) for the Galaxy smartphone users, which we’ve seen demonstrated in a video about a month ago.

We will be back with more on the Android 5.0 software upgrade subject regarding the rest of the Samsung Galaxy series devices as soon as we learn more from Samsung.
