Galaxy A5 and A3 shown off on video in Mexico

Galaxy A5 and A3

Back in August, Samsung Electronics introduced its first ever and truly premium smartphone, the Galaxy Alpha, a device which is a road opener for the Galaxy A series.

Recent leaks have revealed a couple of new such Samsung Galaxy A phones, the SM-A3000 and the SM-A5000, both known as the Galaxy A5 and A3.

The Mexican blog AndroidMX managed to capture on video both these devices alongside Galaxy Alpha and from what they’ve witnessed, both the Galaxy A5 and A3 will feature similar metal frame wrapped up in a plastic housing that aint removable (the back plate), which means we wont be able to access the battery. Also the nano SIM tray and the micro SD slot are both placed on the right hand side of each phone, right under the power button, while the volume rocker sits on the top left hand side.

The A3 is said to feature a 4.5-inch qHD screen, powered by an 1.2GHz quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, 8MP rear camera, 4G and KitKat 4.4.4 OS, while the Galaxy A5 will sport a 5-inch HD screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera and Kitkat with TouchWix UX on top.
