Elife S5.1 is the thinnest smartphone ever built according to Guinness.
Chinese mobile maker Gionee is at it again claiming once more the title for the Worlds slimmest smartphone with its Elife S5.1, and this time the title has been given by the Guinness World Records Association.
Gionee Elife S5.1 measures only 5.15mm in thinness and weighs in at 100 grams. The Elife S5.1 feature a 4.7-inch HD display, comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM (built-in storage), 8 and 5 megapixels cameras, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset that comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and a 2,100 mAh battery.
The slimmest smartphone runs a customized version of Android 4.3, that the OEM calls Amigo OS 2.0, as for the price it is available on pre-order for 1,999 CNY, about £200 / $325 / 253 Euro.
Recently, Gionee introduced another 4.7-inch Android-based smartphone dubbed the Elife E7 mini.
