Galaxy Note 3 receives Android 4.4.4

Galaxy Note 3 receives Android 4.4.4 in the US from Samsung Electronics. Dust it off!!

Samsung US has just informed Galaxy Note 3 owners about the latest software update, which includes an upgrade to Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) among other things (bug fixes and security patches). The update could be soon available for Europeans as well.

The new firmware has assigned the build number N900PVPUCNH7, and it includes HD voice Icon support, International Wi-Fi Calling support, Google Security Patches, Knox 2.0 and Kids Mode.

The software is being rolled out as a OTA notification for download. We advise to have at least 50 – 60% of battery and a stable WiFi connection, just in case.

Verizon customers received Android 4.4.2 back in May, and they might make the jump to this latest firmware very soon.
