With the announcement of the new Sony Xperia Z3 range less than 24 hours old, UK network O2 have released a press release with details of the Sony Xperia Z3 Schedule for when these devices will be available on their network.

The new Sony Xperia Z3 event caught a lot of eyes yesterday when it was announced at IFA 2014. Taking technologies they have used to great effect in previous incarnations bearing the Xperia name, the Sony Xperia Z3 line is certainly a great advance to the line. Here are the details by O2 about release dates:

Sony Xperia Z3 phones:


O2 are releasing the Sony Xperia E3 exclusively in Lime colour, as well as the standard black and white available. The Sony Xperia E3 is the lower end of the Xperia scale with simplified controls and a great camera too. The Sony Xperia E3 will launch in late September on O2’s Future-proof Refresh tariff.

The Sony Xperia Z3 will be launched at the same time and on the same O2 Refresh tariff available in Silver green and black. With a 20MP camera and capable of taking low level lighting pictures, the phone will be a great seller, much like it’s predecessors.

Finally, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be released by the end of the month on the O2 Refresh Tariff available in Black, White and Orange. All the features of the Z3 have been squashed down into the compact, but not lost any of the styling.

In more of O2’s Sony Xperia Z3 Schedule, the new Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet compact will be available on O2’s revolutionary Refresh Tariff from late September in Black. The most powerful yet lightest tablet ever made by Sony, the Sony Xperia 3 Tablet will be a great competitor to other tablets on the bloated market.

Sony SmartWatch 3:

The new Android Wear device by Sony will allow users to log their life as they go about their business and be given up to date information in a way that only Android Wear can. Available from late October, pricing and exact release date are to be confirmed in the next few days.
