Acer announced a new line of products back at Computex Taipei, and they will be available in Europe in the next couple of days, where they will be announced at IFA in Berlin.
The Liquid Leap, which is Acer’s first leap (sorry) into the wearables market is set to be launched in Italy at the end of September for a very reasonable 99 euros, making it perhaps the cheapest wearable on the market currently.
Acer will also be launching the incredibly thin and compact Liquid Jade smartphone on September 7th for the also low price of 229 euros. The Liquid Jade will boasts specs, such as; a HD 5 Inch IPS Display, there’ll be a Quad Core 1.3 GHz chip powering the Jade and 1GB of helping the processor along, although that is subject to which country you purchase the Liquid jade in.
Round the front of the device is a 2 megapixel camera for all your selfie wants and needs and an impressive 13 megapixel shooter round the back equip with a LED flash.
There’s also the option of a dual-sim version and the Liquid jade will be running Android 4.4 KitKat at launch. There’s no word on when we expect to see Acer’s latest devices hitting U.K shores, but we’ll be sure to let you know.
