HTC has been teasing for the last couple of weeks a new smartphone, one that will feature a 64-bit chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 615.
With only a couple of days left before unveiling the Desire 820 in a press event in Berlin at IFA 2014, HTC’s new Desire series smartphone has been caught on camera in several alleged images. The photos portraying the handset dont come alone, as we are being treated with the key specs sheet as well. Please note that the photo up top is probably not the Desire 820, only the rest of these images below.
HTC Desire 820 is said to feature a 5.5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 615 chipset (4 x 1.8GHz cores + 4 x 1GHz cores), Adreno 405 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (micro SD), 13MP and 8MP cameras, and a 2,600 mAh battery.
Just recently, HTC announced another 64-bit based smartphone, the Desire 510, which is powered by another Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 410, comes equipped with a 4.7-inch HD display, 1GB of RAM & 5MP rear-camera, which puts it onto the affordable smartphone segment.
