Desire 510 available from September in the UK via O2 tariffs.
Following on HTC earlier today’s announcement, O2 is also announcing that they will be offering the affordable mid-level Desire 510 smartphone through its range of O2 Refresh tariffs as of September.

It comes with an 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear-facing camera and Android 4.4 KitKat. Desire 510 also comes with HTC BlinkFeed software technology displaying the latest updates from the user’s favourite news and social media pages straight to the home screen, whilst the Video Highlights feature automatically brings photos and videos to life in a 30 second mini-movie.
Offered through the O2 Refresh tariff, means that those who want to upgrade early from another handset need only pay off the remaining value of their handset rather than the combined value of handset and Airtime for the remaining time on their contract, thus potentially saving hundreds of pounds to stay bang-up-to-date.
What’s more, with O2 Refresh, customers who want to keep their phone after two years will only pay for their monthly airtime package from that point. Plus, by recycling an old handset through O2 Recycle, customers can receive a cash payment when they upgrade. O2 will offer up to £35 for an HTC Desire 500 and £40 for the HTC Desire 601. Customers can recycle in-store or online.
