Sony L55t and L55u passes Chinese certification. Is this the Xperia Z3?

Sony has already announced a flagship smartphone this year, the Xperia Z2, and you might have heard and seen from our previous reports that an Xperia Z3 accompanied by an Xperia Z3 Compact is also on the way as of next month (September).

A press event is already schedule for September 3rd at IFA 2014, in Berlin, where we expect Sony to unleash a few new smartphones and even a Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, which should be an affordable 7 or 8-inch Android tablet, according to recent leaks.

The Chinese electronics certification authority in the country sheds some more light in this case as their official website reveals Sony L55t and L55u smartphone models, specs and images. According to their listing, the Xperia Z3 might feature a 5.2-inch IPS Full HD display, measure 7.35mm in thinness and weighs 158 grams and a half.

Other specs include GSM, TD-LTE, WCDMA network compaibility, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 20.7MP main camera, 2MP up front,  16GB internal storage (microSD slot included for up to 128GB) and it runs on Google’s Android 4.4 operating mobile system.
