Sony is going to expand its tablet lineup in September at IFA with a small tablet, as the latest evidence suggests. It’s going to be called Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, but other than that, we don’t know anything about it.
Its name has leaked in an user manual of the Sony Bluetooth Speaker With Magnetic Charging Pad BSC10. It’s listed as a compatible device in the manual, along with the Xperia Z2 tablet and many more. Because we know nothing about its specs and appearance, we can guess that it comes with top-of-the-line hardware, including a Snapdragon 801 or 805 processor, a minimum of 2GB RAM, a FullHD display of relatively small size, and the latest Android release, which is KitKat at the moment.
We bet that Sony will promote its own design language with this tablet as well. We are used to see glass-made Sony devices with a metal rim, so the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact shouldn’t be an exception, unless Sony comes up with something new in that department, of course.
We are interested in this new tablet from Sony. Do you think it will be a success?
